I Can Begin Again: When God Gives You Grace for a New Beginning
THE TUESDAY POUR
Going Deeper with Women Let’s Travail
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?” Isaiah 43:19 KJV
There are moments when God allows us to recognize that where we have been does not have to determine where we are going.
Maybe you didn’t get everything right.
Maybe something didn’t work the way you expected.
Maybe you’ve experienced disappointment, delay, loss, or simply become tired along the journey.
But here’s what I want to pour into you today:
You can begin again.
Beginning again doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve failed. Sometimes beginning again means you’ve grown enough to recognize that God is calling you forward with greater wisdom, greater clarity, and greater faith.
Isaiah 43:19 says, “Behold, I will do a new thing…”
Notice that God didn’t tell Israel to pretend the past never happened. He called their attention to what He was doing now.
And somebody needs that reminder today.
You have spent enough time looking backward.
God is still writing your story.
RESET God Can Give You Clarity
Sometimes the first thing God changes isn’t our circumstance. He changes our perspective.
A reset says:
“Lord, help me see this season the way You see it.”
Yesterday’s disappointment doesn’t have authority over today’s obedience.
RENEW God Can Strengthen You Again
Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.
Renewal means exhaustion doesn’t have to be permanent.
You may have been tired.
You may have felt depleted.
But God knows how to breathe strength into places that life has drained.
My strength shall be renewed.
RESTORE God Hasn’t Lost His Ability to Restore
There are things we cannot repair ourselves.
Relationships. Resources. Confidence. Peace. Even pieces of ourselves that we feel have been lost along the journey.
But God is still the God of restoration.
And restoration doesn’t always mean God gives something back exactly as it was. Sometimes He restores by bringing us into something new.
So don’t become so attached to what left that you cannot become excited about what God is bringing.
RELEASE Trust God’s Appointed Time
Some things aren’t denied.
They’re appointed.
That’s why waiting requires faith.
There are answers, opportunities, strategies and doors that God knows how to release at the proper time.
Our responsibility is not to manipulate the timing.
Our responsibility is to remain faithful while we wait.
I trust His appointed time.
REWARD Your Labor Is Not in Vain
First Corinthians 15:58 reminds us that our labor in the Lord is not in vain.
God saw you when nobody applauded.
He saw you continue serving.
He saw you keep praying.
He saw you remain faithful when walking away would have been easier.
And that’s why you cannot judge the value of your obedience by what you can currently see.
Your showing up was not in vain.
So this week, I want you to speak these declarations over yourself:
I CAN BEGIN AGAIN.
MY STRENGTH SHALL BE RENEWED.
GOD IS STILL THE GOD OF RESTORATION.
I TRUST HIS APPOINTED TIME.
AND MY LABOR IN THE LORD IS NOT IN VAIN!
Let’s Pray
Father, thank You for the grace to begin again. Reset our focus, renew our strength, restore what You have ordained for our lives, and teach us to trust Your appointed time. Remind us that every prayer, every seed, every act of obedience and every moment of faithfulness offered unto You is never wasted. Give us courage to release yesterday and faith to embrace what You are doing next. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Rise. Heal. Thrive.
